Weekly WorshipJesus calls us to gather, assuring us that whenever two or more gather in God's name, God is present. Our schedule provides for weekly opportunities to worship in our chapel, including Sacramental Celebrations. Annual RetreatsJesus provided us with the example of going out into the desert, or off on his own to pray and reflect on God's will for Him. Following this example set by Jesus we have made retreats an important part of our program. Pastoral Care and CounselingAt SEA we strive to help students find hope and meaning in their relationships, and we assist them in exploring some of the moral dilemmas and decisions they face in those relationships. We have also found that most 'discipline' problems are really relational problems, and are best handled before they happen. Therefore, we take a risk management approach that includes parents, teachers, staff and students. Service ProgramSEA requires 80 hours of community service for graduation. Service is not part of the regular class schedule; therefore, students must find time outside of school to complete this requirement. We do offer placement assistance to our students and frequently offer projects that may be completed in groups. |
